LITTLE LACEY BITES

They’re still at it, but now the leaves look like they’re tired.

Little lacey leaves

The leaves, drooping now, look like little boats trying to drain themselves of excess water. The holes are still on the edges – no bites on the surfaces of the leaves.

And fat happy cattypillars, sidling along the edges.

Despite the biteness of it all, I love how the bites have made arch-like shapes, looking almost as if it was a cathedral or some Victorian window covering.
