I have a chronic pain thing that keeps trying to usurp my energy and attention 24/7. Such a bludy PITA. That’s one of the reasons I do so many designs. During the time I’m drawing – it’s like imbibing a whole bottle of pain-relief – I don’t feel it as much.

I don’t usually like to talk about this thing much, bcz I don’t want pity or suggestions of who to go to or what to do – ask me if I haven’t tried every damn thing in the book and plenty more! So please – do not. Please.

But you CAN ask about drawing, color, style, subject matter, digital vs pen and ink, and more – those kinda Qs. And I’ll answer them as I can!

Today this image came barreling through. I had been all set to do one of the square designs, but oh no, these birdies wanted to say “use us as wallpaper!” So of course, I hadda draw them, right?
