My buddy Fred comes by once a week or so, and we sit and share some punkin pie as he gabs away talking story all about the Giants games and his rellies who come to visit. (see the wrinkled up pic of this scarf next to his plate?)
And about his crazy kitty who loves to jump into his chair the second Fred gets up, and growls when Fred tries to pick her up and put her in the other chair so he can sit back down!
And we talk about the amazing woodwork he does – the various exotic woods and their odd characteristics, where he gets the specialized tools he uses, and designs for the beautiful cabinetry he builds.
I think that’s my favorite art – I love talking about art with really gifted artists like him. And no, he doesn’t work barefoot – I just didn’t feel like putting boots on him!
When he leaves, he takes my bottles and cans to the recycling center, since I have no car anymore.
This is a surprise design – it will be his xmas gift! Hih hih hih!
