Why Pyramid? Well – the word just popped into my head. So there it is! I had been looking at a lot of Egyptian art lately – think maybe it had some kind of influence?

Nah, I don’t think so. I was just fooling around with triangles. And golds and browns and black. Sometimes the idea behind a piece isn’t all that profound.
Nonetheless, I sure like this one – one more design to get printed for fabric! I’d wear a shirt with this design any day.
Or maybe I’ll make pillows, or totes. Or blankets. Or, let’s see – tea towels – or oven mitts – or lunch bags – or silky scarves – should I go on?
I had a session with my design coach yesterday. She wants me to go all black and white. Only show B&W designs. No color.
That will take some huge restraint – you know how much I love color, right? We’ll see if I can carry that off. She’s right though – the BWs are powerful. Here is this one in black and white, no color at all. See what you think.

I rather like the colored one, myself – I’d wear it before the plain black and white one. Which do you like better?
