Windmill on A Golden Evening

Dark Horse Rising
At first I thought this was way too dark to even be seen. But when you see the 11″ x 14″ giclée (print on canvas), it’s stupendous. My prints on paper are really beautiful … and then again, the giclées are 5 steps up in color and saturation. I love this!

The outrigger canoe clubs come down to practice in the afternoons, and this is the canoe, Kananu being brought back to its nest under the ironwood trees. You can see one of the Mokulua Islands in the far distance, past Lanikai.

An odd shaped sail on a little boat in the Caribbean. Believe it or not, that long sail is for real – the native sailors have used sails of this shape for generations.
Diamond Head
There aren’t many spots where you can see a view of the iconic Diamond Head crater like this without interruption of cityscape and people on the beach. Bet you can’t guess where I took the photo for this painting!
