Under the Ironwoods
Kamanu Returns
The outrigger canoe clubs come down to practice in the afternoons, and this is the canoe, Kananu being brought back to its nest under the ironwood trees. You can see one of the Mokulua Islands in the far distance, past Lanikai.

The Pinky Peachy Tree
Can you guess that I love trees? This one is particularly appealing to me with its profuse bloom of pinky-peachy flowers, floating above a lovely garden of tulips and petunias in outrageous fuschia.
Caribbean Dream
An odd shaped sail on a little boat in the Caribbean. Believe it or not, that long sail is for real – the native sailors have used sails of this shape for generations.
Diamond Head
There aren’t many spots where you can see a view of the iconic Diamond Head crater like this without interruption of cityscape and people on the beach. Bet you can’t guess where I took the photo for this painting!
