OATMEAL COOKIES

I announced last week that I was going to be taking time off social media to focus on my next series of art books.

And I did it, too! It was so hard! I missed everyone – seeing their posts, laughing at silly jokes, cussing under my breath at the stupidity humans are capable of.

So I started cooking again.

And man, am I a lousy cook! I made a batch of blueberry muffins that were so bad even the ravenous squirrels outside wouldn’t eat them!

So then I made oatmeal cookies. Those were yummy. Score one for me.

The funnest thing about it was seeing how I could draw my kitchen doings into art – I loved that!

And I continued not cruising social media . . . .
