I’m one of the worst cooks on the planet. But I tried! I tried!
I wanted to try to make up for the first batch of blueberry muffs. I was so careful to measure out everything perfectly!
And … ummm … then I added twice the amount of blueberries called for.
Because, you know – they never put enough in commercial muffins, right?
And they actually turned out fine.
But then I discovered, much to my great annoyance, that the ‘perfect,’ ‘organic,’ ‘pure’ blueberries I had used were completely and utterly tasteless.
I ate one muffin, and stuck the rest in the freezer – for those days when you need something to eat but there’s nothing in the house. Desperation eating, I call it.
I think maybe I might stop trying to cook stuff.
Although I did find what looks like a great pickle recipe . . . .
