“But … but … I don’t know how!” Well bloody well learn how!
Do you honestly think life is going to go on smooth as silk in the near future? Look at how our food chain has been majorly fked up by the terrible fires, floods and storms – that mean anything to you?
You can bet old people are going to start dying like flies in this rotten winter weather, because power companies not only charge outrageous, unpayable rates, but then comes oh-darn-the-power-went-down just when you need it most.
Do you eat wheat? Do you know it is saturated with glyphosate? You think you have celiac disease, or need to be gluten-free. But I bet if you went to one of the European countries that banned glyphosate, you could eat all the damned pasta and baguettes you please. I did. But you can be darned sure I don’t touch wheat anything here in the US unless it’s organically grown.
You think eating kale is good for you. Broccoli, and other common veggies. Did you check to see if they were grown without pesticides? Or maybe you don’t know which veggies are the most-sprayed?
Ask yourself – is your body a swill of toxic sludge inside, just brimming and brewing an ‘autoimmune condition’ doctors will tell you they ‘can’t cure’, or give you pills and meds that only make things worse?
Please. Be careful what you eat. Get healthier. We need you alive, not dead of crop-poison toxicity.
Please. Be careful what you eat. Get healthier. We need you alive, not dead of crop-poison toxicity.
Listen up! You want to live through these times? Maybe even thrive?
Then learn how to knit.
Learn how to can fruits and veggies.
How to dry meat.
How to make pemmican.
Learn how to grow your own food.
If you, like me, have no room but a single door-stoop, grow herbs in small pots. Get your neighbors to grow other stuff, and share amongst yourselves.
Not only does it add to your abundance, and make you feel really good to grow and share, but you’re helping contribute to a healthier place to live and o-my-gosh even have fun!
And making good friends with neighbors in an age where you can live next to someone for years and not even know their name is so fabulous you will wonder how it took you so long.
I never learned how to knit – somehow my brain doesn’t get it. But I can crochet circles around you in multiple colors. I don’t know how to weave, but I can make a patchwork quilt that would make your eyes water.
And if you ever tasted my dark-chocolate fudge, you’d never recover. You’d want to move in with me, and make me your fudge-making slave. (Only be warned – you’ll croak of choco-poisoning the first week! And then I’ll have all your stuff! Hahahahahaha!)
What one small thing can you start doing – now! – that would add to the UP vibes of the world?
Start doing it.
Start sharing it.
We need you and your side-talents and gifts!
And you need us!
