I’m constantly looking for ways to cut down on marketing time so I can get back to the easel.

I just found a cool site called fiverr.com where there are hundreds of people who say they ‘do anything for 5 bucks.’

I checked them out & liked what I saw, and hired someone to post my painting project page to their huge list 5 times a day for 4 weeks – all for 5 bucks.

I was surprised, then, when I was given access to a control panel – now I can access it and change the posts as often as I like, and the system tweets automatically, saving me time and energy in my marketing.

And today, not even 24 hours later, I’ve gotten almost 100 new clicks that I probably wouldn’t have gotten before.

To choose someone to do massive tweeting for you, you do have to be careful – make sure you find out the nature of their list – you don’t want your tweets going to some country where they won’t care about your work or buy your products or services.

And make sure you read the feedback from customers – there was one I saw I liked, but the feedback stank. So I used someone whose feedback and work sounded good. Watch for poor English, as well.

This week my client, ‘Cynthia’ lit into me and scolded me crisply. She’d seen my email a couple of months ago where I announced that ‘I Quit,’ and knew I was taking more time for my artwork and cutting back on coaching.

She has been a client of mine for a while now, and she’s always sending me little notes of gratitude. She says, “because of you and your guidance, I’ve gone from being a terrified, limp buttercup to a huge, radiating sunflower in my business and personal life.”

So she was asking me about how it has been for me this past few months as I move my energies to living more of my Dream than ever, and how inspired she felt, herself, just seeing me go for it. That was nice. And then she nailed me.

A week or so ago I proposed bypassing instead of fighting evil.

Many of you wrote enraged, saying ‘we should fight it forever,’ that we should not go into denial or lala land about it, and other such comments.

Please understand, I don’t condone evil!

When you walk into a dark room, you don’t stand there and say, “it’s not dark!” And you don’t have a fist fight with, make laws against, arrest, raise sanctions against or bom.b the dark, do you? No! You reach over and turn on the light!

Obviously in the ‘real’ world it seems more complex than that, but you get the concept. How do we do that, though? How do we reach inside and turn on the Light?

I was amazed to see that a few things I had thought you would want are low on the priority list. I had thought of doing a 14-Day Tapping Challenge, but it seems to bottom out.

Much more asked for was the Round Table Tapping Group – so I’m in the process of setting that up to open soon. We’ll tap 3 times a month of what YOU want to work on.

Last year there was more interest in marketing. Now it’s the fundamentals – a life you really love, more money and mindset. We can do that!

I was surprised to see that recorded audios were way more popular (65%) than live teleclasses (44.7%), and both of those outranked anything by miles.

This morning I was working with ‘Sam’, a coaching client. At one point in our session, he asked if I was disappointed in his lack of progress.

I was surprised, because he has been making huge leaps and bounds, and, to my mind, didn’t even go near ‘lack of progress.’ He’s so far ahead of where he was 5 months ago you couldn’t really call him the same person.

But people’s feeling are their feelings. They have no logic at all, nor do they have any basis in anyone else’s thoughts. So my own perception of Sam had nothing to do with what he saw for himself.

In truth, deeper than the question of whether or not I was disappointed, what was more real for him was a fear that he had no value and that, try as he might, he wasn’t going to ‘get anywhere’.

I don’t know about you, but I’m sick to death of people telling me what to do and what I should buy from them.

Use the Law of Attraction! Do this technique! You should eat green! You should stop eating sugar! Use this technique to get more clients!

You should…you should…you should!

NO! I shouldn’t! And I won’t, either!

In my experience, the Law of Attraction is vastly over-rated. First, it’s not a law, it’s a principle. And second, you have to add appropriate Doing to the Dreaming or nothing works – something most LOAers forget to tell you.

Yes, envisioning your desire is essential. But do they tell you how to handle the yeah-buts your mind trips you up with that make you feel like you can’t have or be or do what you set out for?

Do they help you find or make up the appropriate steps you need to take to make your dream manifest in the real world?

Do they tell you that you need to have support for when you lose track?

And how do they know what I should eat?

How do they know I’m not from a group of aliens who landed on earth and my blood is made of chocolate, and if I stopped eating sugar I would die!?! Read the rest of this entry »

In my experience, one of the most precious things that help make your life as great as you wish it to be is an unshakable support system. Whether that consists of your family, friends, co-workers, business team or a great coach, that support is essential.

These are the people (or person) to whom you can go and feel safe, and by whom you feel loved and uplifted.

With them, you can open your heart, let your hurts fall out on the floor for examination and healing, without any judgement or criticisms or you-should-haves.

They hold your hand and support you with massive amounts of love as you be with that pile of scary stuff, deal with it, and decide what to do next.

They stand by you as you transform your circumstances, attitudes, thoughts, or situations into working for you, so you end up feeling good, so you feel open and delighted again.

•  You know for certain that they have the uplifting energy and sweet, unbiased love and support that only someone who believes in you can give you.

•  You know for sure that, even if they don’t have any solutions for your problem, any new perspective through which to look, they still love you without judgement. And that they will be with you until and as you choose something new, something that does work for you.

•  You also know that, even if you don’t don’t like what they have to say, they will tell you the truth of their own experience; they will give you their opinion and perspective; and they will tell you how they feel.

•  And you know that they will never insist that you do anything their way–that yes, they’ll have their say, but they know that you need to make your own decisions that may even be in direct opposition to what they say or would do, themselves.

To have a person in your life who will be this for you is mightily precious.
